Dr. Muawiya Hassanein, the head of Gaza emergency services, confirmed the incident, adding that medics had not yet identified the person who died.
Witnesses said the house belonged to Nadir Abu Shaaban, a member of the Islamist Hamas movement which has ruled Gaza for nearly a year.
The cause of the explosion was not yet known, but several Gazans have been killed and wounded in recent years by accidental explosions while constructing or handling crude homemade rockets and other weapons in the war-torn territory.
Good, another fucked up muslim is dead. If "allah" really existed, would he let these imbeciles blow themselves up accidentally? For our illiterate muslim friends, the answer is no. These accidents peove that there is no allah and islam is nothing more than a violent cult that takes advantage of those who cannot read, cannot think for themselves and cannot function in normal society.
